Theatre Class for your Child

With an extensive background as a dancer and actress, Nacheska is versatile.  Nacheska teaches classes both in the public and private venue here in the Dallas and Fort Worth and workshops in other areas of Texas. She has toured as an actress throughout the U.S. and done industrial and music videos, TV, and Film work. (Lily Dale, Walker Texas Ranger, Dancing Texas Style for Delta Records, and more)  With her teaching and practical skills she makes an excellent teacher and director.  Here are the present classes offered for children's teen theater.

Here at Odyssey we have so much to offer in the theatrical realm...vocal variety, singing, blocking, staging, acting, dancing, interacting with others and so much more... expand your child's natural talent...

Summer sessions are as follows:

We have two options for the summer...workshops which are week long programs for 2 hours daily with a show on the last 1/2 hour of Friday...( Exploring the world of TV and film acting in July will not have a show but will film a DVD to be sent home) or classes monthly with an "drop-in" option for those on vacation)

June week of theater fun is called Dramatic Fun 101!!! We will explore basic drama/acting and theater along with singing and dance...there will be a "curtain raiser" song and short play ..offered June 23rd-27th 4:30-6:30

July workshop will be Fun in Film (acting for TV/Movies) This session will explore the differences in acting in TV and Movies...we will film a short that will be sent home in DVD format with the children...we will also learn about makeup and vocal variety) offered July 21st-25th 4:30-6:30

Cost includes all supplies and is only $100 per workshop...limit students 10 per session...

Saturday Drama Class 5:00-6:00- This will be an ongoing summer class that deals in the different areas of acting and singing...we will explore our ability to be different characters, our voice in speaking and singing, and simple dance skills needed on stage. This is a pay by the lesson or by the month...minimum enrollment will be 5 with maximum being 12 ...end of the summer variety show utilizing our theatrical skills. Cost by the month $40....by the class $12 (drop in; good for vacation month)
